Had a fantastic Ceviche Mixto at La Jato Peruvian Restaurant! The flavors were incredibly fresh and vibrant. Highly recommend! Definitely worth a visit.

The food and attention here was great. Seating was quick and each plate the portions feed two people.

From Wisconsin, came to visit my new granddaughter and family. Went to El Jato Restaurant for some great Peruvian ceviche food. It was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with great service. The atmosphere was soothing and relaxing, with calming music that set the perfect tone for our meal.. We started with the fried yuca rellenas as appetizers, served with a delicious cheese cream dip. They were a fantastic beginning to what turned out to be an incredible meal. For the main course, I ordered the ceviche with seafood in a cilantro cream. It was outstanding! The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the seafood was fresh and delicious. Additionally, the brown fried rice with well-seasoned steak pieces was a delightful complement. Our waitress was professional and extremely courteous, attending to our needs with a smile and ensuring we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. To top it all off, the sangria was excellent - a perfect way to round out a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend El Jato Restaurant for anyone looking for a fantastic meal with great service and a relaxing atmosphere.

I recently dined at La Jato, and I was thoroughly impressed by both the food and the exceptional service. The standout of our evening was definitely Samantha, our waitress. Her warm and attentive demeanor made our experience truly special. She was knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations that perfectly suited our tastes. Samantha’s prompt service and genuine enthusiasm for the cuisine added a personal touch to our meal. It’s clear she takes great pride in her work and in providing a memorable dining experience. If you’re looking for top-notch Peruvian food and outstanding service, I highly recommend visiting this restaurant and asking for Samantha.

This is one of the best Peruvian places in town. I had “aji de gallina” and “Fry fish”. Both were delicious. Flavorful and the fried fish was so fresh that it melt in your mouth. Please note, there is a different total price with cash or credit card. See receipt picture.

This restaurant does not disappoint. Its not too expensive and it’s really good. It’s our weekly to biweekly must have. The ceviche of aji amarillo is my favorite and the cilantro ceviche is delicious. We also enjoy la jalea, lomo salteado, and Mara cuya cheesecake. We also had the arroz con marisco at times. My only complaints are: they don’t add enough of the green garlic sauce that goes with the jalea and not enough shrimp in the jalea.

Today everything was exquisite like always! The best place in Miami to eat! I usually come here because the food and service are exceptional! Fernanda is very sweet and efficient!! Thank you for being the best!!!

Great Peruvian restaurant in Hialeah. The decor is beautiful and makes a good ambiance. We live in Broward county and this is worth the drive. Small place but it’s great. Smoothie shop looks good, I want to try the next time I come. The portions are big so come hungry or split your plate. I ordered medium rare and it was cooked perfectly !
